Description
Kururu works as the receptionist at the Merratoni branch of the Healers Guild. Outwardly she can seem unoccupied and her default demeanor is leisurely, though she herself maintains that she is quite busy. She has a sharp, sometimes mischievous edge to her personality and is not immediately warm or welcoming. Early on she regards the protagonist Luciel with open skepticism, dismissing him as uninformed and inexperienced.
Over time her attitude toward Luciel shifts. Despite her initial unimpressed front, she takes a genuine interest in his well-being and becomes a supportive, almost sister-like presence. Her behavior remains casual and she is not above grumbling about extra work, especially after her colleague Monica transfers to the Adventurers Guild, which leaves her to manage the quiet Healers Guild counter alone and leads her to complain about the lack of visitors.
In terms of role, Kururu is a fixture at the guild hall and serves as a point of practical information and occasional guidance for Luciel as he learns to navigate the world he has been reincarnated into. Her interactions help illustrate the wider climate of distrust toward healers and the guild’s inner workings. She does not possess combat or magical abilities, but her administrative position gives her knowledge of guild procedures and points systems, which indirectly aids Luciel during his early days.
Her relationships are defined primarily by her evolving connection with Luciel. While she is not shown to have deep ties to many other characters, her reaction to Monica’s departure reveals a degree of attachment to the people she works with. Her personality remains fairly consistent throughout the story: she is beautiful, a little lazy, slightly irreverent, and increasingly fond of the series’ main character, acting as a kind of big sister who teases but ultimately cares.
