Description
Abducted and experimented on by the secret society Fraud during college, Kei—codenamed "K"—was surgically transformed into a Headmeter by Fraud's leader, Kuu Ragua Lee. This biogenetic procedure granted Kei both Headmeter psionic abilities and the enhanced physical traits of a Tuned-man. His Headmeter powers were deemed defective, capped at a typical level 5 due to incomplete mind reading caused by psychological trauma from witnessing his lover Etsuko (codenamed "I") die during her own Headmeter transformation.

Following Etsuko's death, Kei encountered Ai (originally designated "I2"), a younger female clone of Etsuko created by Fraud who had not undergone the full Headmeter procedure. Kei assumed a protective, paternal role over Ai. Together they escaped Fraud, which pursued Ai suspecting she functioned as a legendary "Trigger" capable of unlocking latent psychic abilities in others.

Kei possessed a unique physiology derived from 108 sensors embedded at vital points throughout his body. These sensors enabled precise control over his muscles, internal organs, and brain, allowing utilization of 100% of his muscular capacity. While his raw physical output as a Tuned-man measured below one-tenth of other Fraud agents like Yi or Lyan, his augmentation differed significantly.

Ai proved crucial to Kei's latent powers. Acting as a Trigger during extreme duress, especially when Kei fought to protect her, she unlocked exponential amplification of his abilities. This caused his Headmeter level to surge from its usual 5 to an infinite (∞) state, vastly increasing his psionic capabilities. His journey involved constant evasion of Fraud's operatives, including confrontations with K2—a feminized clone of Kei created via chromosome manipulation who harbored obsessive, narcissistic feelings towards him.

Kei's background connected to 1983 events, later revealing him as a clone originating from Kasuga, son of Sosuke Kasuga who completed the "Program Ai" research at Kasuga Lab. This lab, associated with the discredited Professor Lee Kuwabara, conducted unethical experiments to create individuals with supernatural powers. Kuu Ragua Lee and an elderly security guard named Lee were also clones of Kuwabara.
