Description
Parker Doumeki is a recurring supporting character in Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!. She is a student at Shibahama High School and the sole member of the school's Audio Club. She originally joined the club to gain access to its large archive of recorded audio, though she was later forced to surrender part of the club's storage space when the student council demanded it. After the Eizouken production group approached her, she agreed to act as their sound adviser under one condition: she would be allowed to lodge in their clubroom.

Her background is only lightly sketched in the story. Her full name is unusual, with Doumeki as her surname and Parker as her given name. She has short, light blonde hair, gray eyes, and noticeably dark skin, which the story indicates comes mainly from spending long hours outdoors recording sounds, with some mixed heritage also implied. She stands about 160 centimeters tall and was born on July 11. She lives in a rundown apartment complex rather than with her family, and she appears to manage a tight budget, often cutting costs to get by. At school she almost always dresses in a parka and loose pants instead of the standard uniform.

In personality, Doumeki is highly independent and self-contained. She has little need for friends or group activities, although she does not feel stressed by being around other people. She speaks in a relaxed, slangy dialect with unusual sentence endings, and she has an offbeat sense of humor, once referring to hamburgers as western rice balls. She is also pragmatic and openly interested in money, and she is known for making deadpan requests for large sums, such as asking for one hundred trillion yen. Despite her casual attitude, she takes sound very seriously. She collects everyday environmental noises, such as town broadcast announcements, because she believes that ordinary sounds become valuable and nostalgic over time. She also cares deeply about the authenticity of sound, expressing the view that once a sound source is altered or repaired, it can never be the same again.

Her main motivation is sound itself. Beyond wanting access to the Audio Club's recordings, she is driven by a personal fascination with capturing and preserving the sonic character of the world around her, especially sounds that will later be missed. Her arrangement with the Eizouken gives her a practical benefit, a place to stay, while also letting her put her skills to use on creative projects.

Within the story, Doumeki serves as the sound specialist for the Eizouken as they produce their animated films. She records dialogue, gathers sound effects, and helps shape the audio side of their projects, making her an essential part of their production workflow. In the anime she first appears during the culture festival arc, and she continues to support the group across their later work.

Her relationships with the three main characters are primarily professional but become steadily closer through collaboration. She is recruited into the arrangement by Sayaka Kanamori, who handles the negotiation, and she works directly alongside Midori Asakusa and Tsubame Mizusaki during their productions. She also has a casual acquaintance with a member of the school's fishing club. Although she begins as a solitary figure who keeps to herself, her repeated involvement with the Eizouken gradually draws her into their circle, and she becomes a reliable collaborator who contributes her expertise and distinctive perspective.

Doumeki also possesses a few notable abilities beyond her audio work. She can use echolocation by clicking her tongue, allowing her to gauge the distance, size, and even internal structure of objects around her. She is also unexpectedly strong, capable of carrying heavy loads that would be difficult for most students her age. Her combination of technical skill, sharp hearing, and physical capability, along with her eccentric independence, makes her one of the more distinctive presences in the group's orbit.
