Description
Gohs Intelemon began its journey as a timid Sobble in the Galar region, where it was first seen startled by Ashs training in Wyndon. It attempted to steal food from Ash and Goh using its natural camouflage abilities, but was accidentally caught when Goh blindly threw a Poké Ball in frustration after the creature would not respond to his offer of friendship. This marked the beginning of a transformative relationship that would see the shy Water-type evolve into a confident and capable partner.

As a Sobble, the Pokémon displayed typical behaviors of its species, including a tendency to cry profusely when frightened or overwhelmed, with its tears causing those around it to cry as well. It had a strong emotional need for attention and often hid in small, secluded spaces like drawers and cupboards when not with Goh. The creature was initially uncomfortable around strangers and lacked confidence in battle, focusing too much on its own safety to launch effective attacks. A crucial turning point occurred when Sobble met actress Jacquelines Inteleon during a movie filming in Vermilion City, inspiring it to become brave and strong like its evolved form. With Gohs guidance, Sobble developed a hit-and-run battle strategy that utilized its invisibility, eventually learning the move U-turn and gaining enough confidence to defeat Team Rocket members on its own.

The Pokémon underwent its first evolution into Drizzile after saving an Oddish from a falling Sitrus Berry. However, this evolution brought unexpected disappointment, as Drizzile had believed it would evolve directly into Inteleon. The realization that it had only reached its middle stage led to a drastic personality shift, becoming depressed, aloof, and withdrawn into a cave in Cerise Park. Drizzile rejected social interaction and even willingly took attacks from other Pokémon without defending itself. This period reflected a struggle with unmet expectations, though Goh eventually connected with Drizzile by sharing his own childhood experiences of feeling isolated, leading to a renewed understanding between trainer and Pokémon.

The final evolution into Inteleon occurred during a confrontation with a thief named Gizmo and his Kecleon, who were stealing information from Cerise Laboratory. When Goh tried to shield Drizzile from an incoming attack, the Pokémon remembered its time with Goh and evolved, learning the powerful Snipe Shot move to defeat the intruder. As an Inteleon, the Pokémon shed its earlier insecurities and developed a calm, collected, and confident demeanor, fulfilling its dream of becoming fast and powerful like its idol. It became a resourceful battler capable of attacking moving targets from a distance with precision, and could use its camouflage strategically to catch opponents off guard.

Throughout its development, Inteleon formed a particularly strong sibling-like bond with Gohs Cinderace, with the two enjoying each others company and looking out for one another. As a Sobble, it would often ride on Cinderaces shoulder or head, and Cinderace would share food with it and calm it down when upset. Even during the difficult Drizzile phase, Cinderace attempted to help its friend emerge from depression, though it initially struggled to understand the need for solitude. After evolving into Inteleon, the mutual respect between the two Pokémon deepened into a true partnership.

In its role within the story, Inteleon became one of Gohs most trusted partners, accompanying him on numerous adventures including Project Mew trial missions. It participated in battles against opponents such as Kingdra and took part in a battle royale at Sea Mauville, teaming up with Horace's Gardevoir. Inteleon also experienced extraordinary circumstances when it was captured by an alternate dimension version of Team Rocket and temporarily devolved back through its evolutionary stages due to a clash between Dialga and Palkia distorting time, though it was ultimately restored to its final form. Its notable abilities include Water Gun, Pound, U-turn, Snipe Shot, Liquidation, and Mud Shot, demonstrating its growth from a novice battler to a skilled combatant capable of holding its own against formidable opponents.
