Description
Aaron is a minor character who appears in the animated film Resident Evil: Vendetta. He works as a virologist at the Alexander Institute of Biotechnology in Chicago, Illinois. Within the institute, he is a colleague and a friend to the primary protagonist, Rebecca Chambers, who is a former member of S.T.A.R.S. and a current advisor for the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance.

In terms of personality, Aaron is depicted as a somewhat shy and timid individual. He harbors romantic feelings for Rebecca and wishes to ask her out on a date to a Korean restaurant to celebrate the recent successful defense of his PhD thesis. However, his shyness prevents him from expressing these feelings, and he ultimately fails to extend the invitation, instead focusing on his duties at the laboratory.

Within the story, Aaron’s role is primarily that of a supporting character whose fate serves as a catalyst for the film's initial outbreak sequence. His motivations are simple and grounded in his professional and personal life: he is dedicated to his research at the institute and personally drawn to Rebecca. His key relationship is with Rebecca, for whom he cares deeply and works alongside. He is shown fetching coffee for her and expressing concern about the increase in zombie attacks that have been occurring around the Great Lakes region.

Aaron’s development is tragic and brief. At the behest of a professor, he goes to perform duties in another part of the institute. While heading to examine infected corpses, he notices an open ventilation duct. Before he can react, he is ambushed by Maria Gomez, an assassin working for the main antagonist, Glenn Arias. Maria snaps his neck, killing him instantly. However, because he had been unknowingly infected with the A-Virus prior to his death, the pathogen reanimates his body. He turns into a zombie and begins feeding on a corpse in a hallway. Shortly after, Rebecca encounters the zombified Aaron. Despite her hesitation, as he was a friend, he attacks her. She is forced to defend herself, ultimately killing him by crushing his head with a fire extinguisher.

As a virologist, Aaron does not possess any notable combat abilities. His expertise lies in his scientific knowledge and his work at the biotechnology institute, where he and Rebecca are involved in developing a vaccine for the new virus.
