Description
Hanna is a supporting character from the 2023 film Doraemon: Nobita's Sky Utopia. She is a human girl originally from the 22nd century. At some point in her past, she became lost from her parents and was found by the Three Sages, who invited her to live with them on Paradapia, a floating island in the sky that presents itself as a perfect utopia.

On the surface, Hanna is a kind and caring individual who appears to be an ideal child and serves as the class representative at the Paradapia School. She befriends Nobita and his friends upon their arrival at the island and acts as their guide, showing them around its seemingly perfect civilization. However, this persona is a result of the island’s subtle brainwashing effects, which cause its residents to forget their past lives and homes.

Hanna’s primary motivation is to save the people of Paradapia, including herself, and help them return to their own times and families. She secretly works with a bounty hunter named Marimba, who was hired by Hanna’s real parents to find their missing daughter. After Marimba helps her regain her true memories and sense of self, Hanna learns that Paradapia is not a genuine utopia but a laboratory designed to experiment with a brainwashing ray intended for use on Earth. Her goal shifts to shutting down the island and freeing its captives, a task she and Marimba initially attempt on their own by trying to contact the Time Patrol and destroy the power core.

In the story, Hanna plays a crucial role in revealing the truth about Paradapia. Observing that Nobita can maintain his own personality longer than others, she decides to confide in him and Doraemon, explaining that their friend badges are actually tools for brainwashing and exposing the Three Sages' sinister plan. Despite initial skepticism from Nobita, who believes in the Sages’ good intentions, Hanna’s information proves vital in turning the group against the island’s rulers.

Hanna’s key relationships are with Marimba, her ally and rescuer, and with the main cast, particularly Nobita and Doraemon, whom she trusts to help her stop the Three Sages. Her character undergoes significant development, starting as a brainwashed resident who has forgotten her past, then becoming a determined resistance fighter after her memories are restored. In the climax, she takes an active role in the evacuation, helping the main characters guide the freed captives to their airship as the island self-destructs. Her journey concludes when she is safely returned to the 22nd century and reunited with her parents. Hanna does not possess any notable superhuman abilities or futuristic gadgets of her own, relying instead on her courage, insight, and cooperation with others.
