Description
Akari Hayasaka is a third-year student at Sakuragaoka High School and serves as the president of the Art Club. She has an average height of 158 centimeters and purple hair. Known for her gentle beauty and positive personality, she often tries to make the best of any situation. Akari has a kind and empathetic nature, frequently displaying a motherly or protective side when comforting her close friends Natsuki Enomoto and Miou Aida, especially during times of heartbreak. Despite her social warmth, she can be somewhat introverted and is not the type to easily initiate conversation. Her thought process and attitude toward her work are sometimes considered unusual by her peers, a trait she shares with her friend Haruki Serizawa.
While Akari is highly perceptive about the romantic feelings and struggles of those around her, she is paradoxically clueless when it comes to understanding love for herself, which leads to her falling in love later than her peers. She tends to hide her own struggles and insecurities, fearing that her artistic accomplishments and popularity might cause her genuine concerns to be dismissed. Akari is an artistic genius with remarkable talent for drawing and painting, having won accolades in numerous contests. Her skill is such that she is chosen to provide the main painting for the Movie Research Club’s final film project during her third year. After struggling academically in middle school, she applied herself diligently in high school and improved significantly. She also has a sweet tooth and frequently enjoys visiting a local cake shop named Hoshiya.
Akari has been good friends with Sena Narumi since middle school. In her first year of high school, she became close with Natsuki Enomoto and Miou Aida through the Art Club, and she is also part of a larger friend group that includes Yuu Setoguchi and Haruki Serizawa. The most significant relationship in her development is with Sota Mochizuki. Although they move in the same social circle, they do not talk much for the first two years of high school. Sota has harbored feelings for her since their first day, but he considers her unattainable and watches from afar. In their third year, he works up the courage to confess, marking the beginning of their real interactions. Initially confused by his nervous behavior, Akari does not immediately recognize her own feelings. Over time, she begins to fall in love with him and gradually moves from confusion to reciprocating his feelings, representing her primary journey from observing romance to participating in her own.
