Description
Hotori Shimizu is a patient at her father's hospital, where she suffers from an unspecified disease that slowly erodes her memories. This condition places her in a vulnerable and isolated position, confined within the medical environment her father operates. Despite this bleak prognosis, her personality is defined by a deep yearning for relief from her suffering. She finds a potential answer to her plight in another individual named Suzu, recognizing that his particular brand of naivety might hold the key to ending her pain. This realization becomes the central motivation for her actions, driving her to befriend him. Her role in the story is intrinsically linked to her illness and her relationship with Suzu, as she seeks to use his innocent perspective as a solution to her own tragic circumstances. Her journey within the hospital setting is not one of physical recovery but a desperate search for hope and an end to her mental anguish, with Suzu serving as the catalyst for this possibility.
