Description
Naoki is a boy originally from April 1, 2011, in the timeline before Shocker conquered the world. He first encounters the Kamen Riders when he is caught in the middle of a battle between Kamen Rider OOO and the Mole Imagin, who use him as a time‑travel conduit to reach November 11, 1971. In the altered present where Shocker rules Japan, Naoki lives in ruins with two other children, Mitsuru and Shigeru, and resorts to pickpocketing to survive. He is initially wary of outsiders but quickly shows a resilient and resourceful nature. After being pursued by Shocker police alongside the Riders, he joins their effort to restore the proper timeline.

Naoki’s motivations grow from simple survival to a deep desire to help the Riders fix the past. He accompanies Kotaro Nogami, Ankh, and the others when they return to 1971 to retrieve the Cell Medal that Ankh lost. During the mission, he refuses to abandon Kamen Riders 1 and 2 when they are cornered by the Shocker Greeed. He jumps off the DenLiner with Teddy to stay in the past and aid the two original Riders. This decision marks his transition from a frightened child to a courageous young ally.

In the past, Naoki connects with Nokko, one of the Kamen Rider Scouts. He later grows up, marries Nokko, and becomes the father of Mitsuru. As an adult, he infiltrates Shocker as a scientist, posing as a loyal member while secretly working to undo the brainwashing of Kamen Riders 1 and 2. His plan succeeds, and he reveals himself to the Riders and their allies just before the final battle, restoring the heroes’ true allegiance. His letter, left in a time capsule, explains Teddy’s sacrifice to protect him.

Naoki’s key relationships are with his childhood friends Mitsuru and Shigeru, who become his found family in the Shocker‑ruled world. His bond with Teddy, the Imagin who protects him, is central to his development, and Teddy’s self‑sacrifice deeply affects him. He forms a respectful partnership with Kamen Riders 1 and 2, whom he helps save, and maintains a supportive connection to Kotaro Nogami and the DenLiner crew. His marriage to Nokko grounds him in the past, and his eventual role as Mitsuru’s father closes the time‑loop that began when the boy first met the Riders.

Naoki does not possess any superhuman abilities. His notable strengths are his courage, loyalty, and cleverness. He is willing to stay in an unfamiliar era to do the right thing, and his later work as a scientist within Shocker demonstrates his ingenuity and capacity for long‑term planning. His actions are instrumental in restoring the true timeline and freeing the brainwashed Riders, making him a key human ally in the crossover film.
