Description
Naomi is a part-time crew member aboard the DenLiner, serving as the stewardess of its dining car. She first appears as a supporting character in the Kamen Rider Den-O television series and returns in the crossover film OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders. In the film, she remains in her familiar role, aiding the time-traveling crew as they work to correct a timeline distortion caused by the Greeed Ankh.
Naomi has an innocent, cheerful, and somewhat carefree personality. She tends to prioritize having fun over strict work duties, often enjoying the commotion caused by the Imagin passengers and actively joining in parties, festivals, and celebrations aboard the train. Despite her lightheartedness, she is dependable and willing to help whenever needed. She takes on various tasks: preparing and serving food and drinks, making onboard announcements, checking train tickets, and handling deliveries. She does not participate in combat, but she supports the main cast through her hospitality and resourcefulness.
One of her most distinctive traits is her unusual taste in coffee. She creates original coffee blends topped with colorful whipped cream, which the Imagin (Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros, and Ryutaros) greatly enjoy. Some of her creations reportedly have strange, beneficial side effects on Imagin, though human characters like Ryotaro Nogami and Hana find them unappealing. This quirk adds to her endearing eccentricity.
In the film, Naomi is part of the DenLiner crew that travels alongside Kotaro Nogami (Kamen Rider New Den-O), the Taros Imagin, and the Owner. When Eiji Hino (Kamen Rider OOO) boards the DenLiner, Naomi interacts with him and his companion Ankh in her usual friendly manner. She helps maintain the daily operations of the train while the others confront the Shocker organization and its altered history. Her role is primarily logistical: she ensures the crew remains fed and comfortable during their mission, and she supports the Owner in managing the train's functions.
Naomi's key relationships are with the regular DenLiner inhabitants. She treats the Taros Imagin as a rowdy but cherished family, often mediating their squabbles with good-natured patience. She is especially close with Ryutaros, the playful young Imagin, and is unflappable even when faced with their antics. She also works under the enigmatic Owner, whose whims she accepts with a positive attitude. While her interactions with Kotaro and the other human passengers are less developed in the film, she remains a steady, warm presence that helps bind the crew together.
Throughout the film, Naomi does not undergo major personal development; her character is consistent as the cheerful, helpful stewardess. However, her reliability is demonstrated when she takes initiative to pilot the DenLiner when required, a skill she previously used in the series finale to retrieve stranded Imagin from the past. In the film, she likely performs similar behind-the-scenes duties.
Naomi's notable abilities are her competence in running the DenLiner's dining car, her creative coffee-making that influences Imagin behavior, and her capacity to operate the train itself when necessary. She is not a fighter, but her support is vital to the crew's cohesion and morale.
