Description
General Black is a high-ranking executive of the evil organization Gel-Shocker who appears in the 40th anniversary film OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders. His origins lie in a brutal military past, having been an army officer of former Imperial Russia who rose quickly to the rank of general due to his cruel but effective tactics. After the fall of the Russian Empire, he was approached by the esoteric Buddhist group Geldam and joined them, continuing his campaign of terror in Africa while retaining his uniform and position from the Russian army. He was later contacted by the Great Leader of Shocker and traveled to Japan, where he became a founding figure of the merged organization Gel-Shocker.

In terms of personality, General Black is a stern and highly charismatic figure, determined to carry out Gel-Shocker's goals with ruthless efficiency. He is a calculated strategist who masterminds large-scale operations and is not above risking his own life when necessary, ultimately proving willing to sacrifice himself for his cause. Despite his brutality in battle, he displays an unexpected leniency toward his own soldiers and has been known to protect them from the wrath of the Great Leader on several occasions.

General Black's role in Let's Go Kamen Riders is pivotal to the film's altered timeline. After a Shocker Combatman discovers a Cell Medal dropped by the character Ankh, General Black presents this medal to the Great Leader. This event leads to the creation of the Shocker Core Medal, which in turn gives birth to the powerful Shocker Greeed. The emergence of this new entity allows Shocker to swiftly defeat the Double Riders and bend them to their will, fundamentally changing the course of history. Throughout the film, General Black commands Shocker's forces, calls upon revived monsters like Ika Devil and Garagaranda, and directly engages the Kamen Riders in battle.

His key relationships are primarily defined by his allegiance to the Great Leader of Shocker, to whom he demonstrates absolute loyalty. He also interacts with other prominent villains, including General Shadow from Kamen Rider Stronger, as fellow commanders in Shocker's expanded operations. His relationship with his subordinates is notable for its protective quality, setting him apart from many other villainous commanders who treat their soldiers as disposable.

General Black possesses the ability to transform into a leech-chameleon monster named Hiruchameleon, also spelled Hilchameleon. In this form, he stands approximately 193 centimeters tall and weighs 79 kilograms. His abilities include sucking blood from humans using tubes on his body, using the drained blood to revive defeated Gel-Shocker monsters, throwing leeches that compel targets to follow his orders, and rendering himself invisible to avoid detection. His primary weakness is his inability to use his protective camouflage in certain situations.

In the climax of Let's Go Kamen Riders, General Black fights against Kamen Rider OOO and the other heroic Riders. Ultimately, he is destroyed in battle by Kamen Rider OOO, marking the end of his role in the film's revised timeline.
