Movie
Description
Benny is a supporting character who accompanies the main protagonist Ash Ketchum during the events set in the town of Eindoak. He is a young friend and traveling companion of Ash, journeying alongside him and their mutual friend Lilia.

Benny has a warm and generous personality, often showing his care for others through simple acts of kindness. His most notable trait is his love for baking, and he is frequently seen carrying a supply of homemade macarons, a type of cookie. He readily shares these treats with both his friends and the Pokémon they encounter. This generosity is a key aspect of his character, as he uses his macarons to befriend and interact with others in a gentle, unassuming manner.

His primary motivation within the story stems from his friendship with Ash and Lilia, as he supports them during their adventures in and around Eindoak. He becomes involved in the local harvest festival, even participating in the annual battle tournament where he uses his Pokémon, a Vegimak, to compete. Through these events, he is drawn into the larger conflict surrounding the legendary Pokémon Victini.

Benny's most significant relationship is with Victini, the Victory Pokémon. Victini develops a strong fondness for Benny specifically because of his macarons, which become a recurring element used to gain Victini's trust and coax it out of hiding. While Benny does not undergo a dramatic personal transformation, his role is vital in establishing a friendly connection with Victini, helping to create the bond of trust that is central to the film's resolution. Ultimately, Benny shares in Victini's joyful liberation, joining Ash and Lilia to finally grant Victini its long-held wish of seeing the ocean, a moment made possible by the friendship and simple kindness he offered from the start.

Benny does not possess any extraordinary or supernatural abilities; his strengths are his friendliness, his culinary skill, and his reliability as a companion. His contributions to the group are practical and heartfelt rather than combat-oriented, providing both comic relief and a steady, supportive presence throughout the journey.
