Description
Kōji Kuroda is a sixteen-year-old apprentice mage who appears as a supporting character in the anime Someday's Dreamers II: Sora, the second television series in the Mahō Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto franchise. He is a Japanese teenager with black hair and brown eyes. Like the other young interns, he travels to Tokyo to undergo official training and obtain a mage license, which allows him to use magic for approved requests through the Bureau of Magic. Kuroda is part of a small group of apprentices that includes the protagonist Sora Suzuki, the confident Honomi Asagi, the gentle Hiyori Yamabuki, and the initially aloof Gouta Midorikawa. Within this close-knit cohort, Kuroda is portrayed as friendly and approachable, getting along easily with both Asagi and Hiyori. His personality is easygoing and cooperative, contributing to the supportive, slice‑of‑life atmosphere of the story. While his individual magical specialties are not highlighted in detail, he possesses the same fundamental magical abilities as his peers and progresses through the same practical assignments and classes that form the core of the internship. His primary motivation is to complete the training and become a certified mage, a goal he shares with the other apprentices. Kuroda’s role in the narrative is to be a steady, reliable presence in Sora’s new social circle, and his development is tied to the group’s shared experiences of learning about magic and about life in the city.
