Description
Lieutenant Faraj is a minor human character in the 2011 live‑action film Transformers: Dark of the Moon. He serves alongside Lieutenant Sulimani as the gatekeepers of an illegal nuclear testing site located somewhere in the Middle East. Faraj is described as the more reserved and quieter of the two officers. During the film, the pair receives what appears to be a surprise visit from their defense minister, but the situation is actually a ruse orchestrated by the Autobots. When Sulimani orders the gate opened, three sports cars drive in, one of which transforms into a robot. Both Faraj and Sulimani react with shock and fall to the ground as the Autobots proceed to destroy the facility. Faraj’s role is limited to this single scene, and he does not appear again in the story. He has no spoken dialogue, notable abilities, or character development beyond his initial reaction. His primary relationship is with his colleague Sulimani, with whom he shares the gate‑keeping duty. The encounter serves as a brief demonstration of the Autobots’ covert operations and the confusion their presence causes among human military personnel.
