Description
The character identified as the Blonde College Student in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is named Alice. She is a Decepticon Pretender who assumes the form of a young, attractive female student to infiltrate Princeton University and get close to Sam Witwicky. Her mission is to extract critical information from Sam, who has become essential to the Decepticons' plans.
Outwardly, Alice presents the persona of a friendly and outgoing coed. She is described as pretty and noticeable, with her blond hair being a key identifying feature. She initially appears to be a very forward and seductive young woman who takes an immediate and intense interest in Sam, persistently making advances despite his obvious reluctance. This behavior masks her true nature as a deceptive and ruthless warrior.
Within the story, Alice’s primary role is to act as a spy and an infiltrator. She is introduced when Sam moves into his dormitory at Princeton, where she lives in the neighboring Hamilton Hall. Unlike the other Decepticons who engage in open combat, Alice uses her human disguise to operate covertly. She first approaches Sam at a fraternity party, intrigued by his strange behavior of drawing alien symbols, and attempts to seduce him by pretending to be his girlfriend. Her mission is to keep Sam occupied and probe him for the Cyberglyphic symbols in his mind.
Alice does not have any genuine relationships with other characters, only interactions that serve her mission. Her key target is Sam, whom she tries to lure away from his long-distance girlfriend, Mikaela Banes. She also has a brief and dismissive interaction with Sam’s roommate, Leo Spitz, who is infatuated with her but whom she ignores completely.
The character's development primarily consists of the revelation of her true identity. She seems successfully to seduce Sam in his dorm room, but her actions become aggressive, revealing her mechanical nature. A metallic tentacle extends from beneath her skirt, which she uses to choke Sam. When Mikaela returns and intervenes, Alice abandons her disguise entirely and transforms into a robotic war machine. She then chases Sam, Mikaela, and Leo through the campus and library, firing energy blasts at them, before being seemingly destroyed in a car crash orchestrated by Mikaela.
Alice possesses several notable abilities derived from her nature as a Pretender. Her primary ability is a highly advanced form of disguise that allows her to perfectly mimic a human woman, complete with realistic skin, hair, and clothing, which allows her to blend into a college environment undetected. Her combat capabilities, which she demonstrates after her cover is blown, include transforming into a robotic creature, extending a bladed or prehensile metallic tentacle from her body, and firing powerful energy projectiles from a weapon system. She also demonstrates superhuman strength and durability, surviving a crash that would kill a normal human and continuing her attack by leaping onto a moving car and smashing through its windshield.
