Description
Shirō Ashiya, bearing the demonic title Alciel, hails from Ente Isla’s demon realm. Once commanding the Iron Scorpions—a clan feared for their telekinetic abilities and impenetrable defenses—he swore fealty to Satan after a decisive duel defeat, ascending as a Four Great General within the Demon King Army. Tasked with leading the Eastern invasion, he masterminded military campaigns rooted in the belief of demonic supremacy, treating human lives as mere tools for conquest. When their forces fell to the hero Emilia, he escaped alongside Satan through a magical gate to modern Tokyo, stripped of his powers and trapped in a human guise.

Alciel’s demonic form towers with a muscular frame armored by a black carapace across his torso, arms, and upper face, accented by sharp claws, a lashing tail, and stark white-blonde hair. As Shirō Ashiya, his human form slims his stature, masking his otherworldly traits beneath ordinary features and thrifty attire—often a green apron during domestic tasks. Though his pointed ears and tail vanish, his strategic brilliance endures.

Bound by unshakable loyalty, Alciel addresses Satan as "Your Majesty" even in exile, embracing the role of a frugal housekeeper. He meticulously budgets their meager resources, clashing with Satan’s impulsive spending and Lucifer’s excesses. Initially dismissive of humanity, he begrudgingly adapts to mortal routines, though he stews over their fallen prestige. His devotion borders on self-flagellation, chastising himself for failing to shield Satan during peril.

His diminished powers on Earth restrict telekinesis, teleportation, and energy projection to rare surges fueled by ambient despair. A tactician at heart, he scours for ways to reclaim their strength while juggling chores, balancing survival with scholarly pragmatism.

Alciel resents Lucifer as a drain on their finances and treads warily around Emilia, their former nemesis. With Rika Suzuki, his interactions grow nuanced: unaware of her affection, he treasures her candid friendship, disclosing his demonic identity to dissuade her advances—yet his blunt honesty leaves her hopes ambiguously unaddressed.

Once a prideful conqueror, Alciel now navigates human mundanity as a pragmatic caretaker, his strategic acumen repurposed for household logistics. Torn between loyalty to Satan and the humbling realities of mortal existence, he straddles two worlds—a fallen general clinging to purpose in a realm that has stripped him of everything but his wit and will.
