Description
Onizame is a major antagonist in the story, introduced as a violent transfer student whose arrival shatters the established order of his new school. Little is revealed about his background; he appears without explanation and quickly turns the school into a scene of one-sided beatings.

His personality is defined by mercilessness and precision. Unlike Dai, the school's longtime best fighter, who relies on brute brawling, Onizame is a cold and efficient fighter who fights to cripple rather than to win a scrap. He shows no mercy toward anyone in his path, swiftly disabling his opponents with focused, deliberate violence.

His motivation is simple and direct: he wants to establish himself as the new king of the school. He makes his own laws through force, beating up all the students and breaking their bones until there is nobody left to resist him.

In the story's conflict, Onizame is the force that destroys the old hierarchy. He defeats every student who steps up and then faces Dai, the reigning top fighter, leaving him beaten and completely broken on the ground. With Dai eliminated, the story turns toward Shiroishi, the quiet young man who watches every fight with a smile and who will later become Ichi. The story indicates that Onizame intends to beat Shiroishi as well and suggests that Shiroishi may be the only one capable of providing a genuine challenge, setting up a potential confrontation between them.

Onizame does not undergo meaningful development; he acts as an unstoppable threat that reshapes the conflict rather than as a character who changes. His role is to displace Dai and to push the story toward its central confrontation with Shiroishi.

His notable ability is his fighting style, described as an arm-breaking hapkido technique. He uses joint locks, breaks, and swift strikes to cripple anyone who gets in his way, which makes him far more dangerous than the schoolyard brawlers he overthrows. His comprehensive victory over Dai, previously regarded as the best fighter in the school, establishes his physical dominance and makes him the central threat of the story.
