Description
Wolf Bete emerged from Agastia's Monster Development Department, engineered specifically to combat the superhero Divine Swordsman Blader. Designed initially as a muscular male wolfman, Akashic, Agastia's leader, intervened with a direct order for a "cuter" design. This resulted in a last-minute physical transformation into a smaller, more feminine wolfgirl form. Crucially, corresponding neurological adjustments were omitted, leaving Wolf Bete with a persistent sense of dysphoria, retaining a male self-identification within this female-presenting body.

After surviving the initial clash with Blader, Wolf Bete was reassigned within Agastia. The character now serves as an assistant within the Monster Development Department under scientist Tōka Kuroitsu. Responsibilities include participating in monster development projects, field testing, and operational support. Despite this reassignment, Wolf Bete remains driven by the original goal: defeating Blader to secure funding for bodily reconstruction back into the intended masculine form.

Wolf Bete harbors unrequited romantic feelings for Kuroitsu, who reciprocates with familial or maternal affection. This dynamic creates tension when Kuroitsu occasionally attempts to feminize Wolf Bete's appearance through clothing choices, which the character consistently resists due to discomfort with gendered presentation. Professionally, Wolf Bete demonstrates competence in combat and departmental operations, prioritizing civilian safety over battling heroes during an amusement park incident.

Personal relationships extend beyond Kuroitsu. Wolf Bete interacts with fellow department creations Cannon Thunderbird and Hydra. The character shares personality similarities with Akashic, particularly youthful perspectives and interests. During an employee retreat, Wolf Bete entered a relationship with Skylla, another Agastia monster who perceived the character as female. Interactions also occurred with Elbakki from rival organization Black Lore, who engaged in teasing behavior.

Character development involves gradual adaptation to the workplace and team dynamics. Wolf Bete participates in departmental activities, such as beach testing for aquatic capabilities, and major organizational conflicts. During Agastia's confrontation with the foreign entity Zet Arc, Wolf Bete fought alongside other Japanese heroes and villains in a unified defense. The narrative consistently focuses on navigating bodily incongruence while pursuing professional objectives within Agastia's structure.
