Description
Diavolo is the crown prince of the Devildom and the Demon King's only child. As the future ruler, he wields significant authority while his father slumbers deeply. Despite his high status, he experienced a sheltered and isolated upbringing following his mother's death in childbirth, his strict father restricting interactions beyond the castle walls. This isolation only ended when he met Barbatos, captivated by his tales of the outside world. Diavolo persistently convinced Barbatos to become his butler, arguing his guidance was essential for Diavolo to become a worthy king.

Diavolo’s appearance shifts between forms. His humanoid state features short, layered auburn hair, beige skin, pale yellow eyes, and black-painted nails. His demon form presents darker taupe skin, brighter red hair, segmented red-and-black horns adorned with gold, and four bat-like wings with red-to-black gradients. Gold markings resembling bracers appear on his forearms, while looping black patterns adorn his chest and back. His demon attire includes a black-and-gold choker connected by chains to jeweled pendants, a black skirt with gold accents over white pants, and knee-high boots. For RAD (Royal Academy of Diavolo), he wears a distinct uniform: a long red jacket with a charcoal grey shoulder cape, blue-and-white ribbon, charcoal grey shirt, white tie, and matching pants with red stripes. In the Human World, he dons a gunmetal grey suit with a wine-red coat draped over his shoulders and a matching tie secured with a gold clip.

His personality balances approachability with royal authority. He exhibits a cheerful, boisterous demeanor, enjoying activities like karaoke, pillow fights, and cycling. He values inclusivity, stating "All life within the Devildom is important, no matter what form it takes," and collects small, cute creatures like static spiders. However, as ruler, he enforces strict consequences for defiance, imprisoning Belphegor for treason and placing Lucifer under house arrest for protecting him, demonstrating unwavering commitment to justice. He rarely lies and can detect falsehoods in others. Though he craves genuine connections, his status often isolates him, as others fear his power—a theme reflected in his UR card title "It’s Lonely Being Me".

Diavolo’s primary goal is fostering harmony among the Devildom, Celestial Realm, and Human World. He initiated an exchange program to achieve this, inviting humans and angels to RAD. This ambition stems from his belief that unity benefits all realms, even requiring difficult decisions like forcibly returning exchange students to the Human World to advance diplomacy. His strategic acumen is evident in past dealings: during the Great Celestial War, he offered to save Lucifer’s dying sister Lilith by reincarnating her soul as a human in exchange for Lucifer’s loyalty, securing a powerful ally and stabilizing his rule.

Key relationships define his character. Barbatos serves as his butler and confidant, their bond forged through mutual dependence. Lucifer is his closest friend and advisor, though their trust fractured when Diavolo concealed truths about Lilith’s reincarnation, requiring efforts to repair. With the protagonist (MC), Diavolo shares vulnerable details of his childhood, indicating deep trust. He interacts cordially with other characters like Solomon and the demon brothers, though nobles like Mephistopheles worry he may distance himself from old companions.

Magically, Diavolo possesses exceptional power. He sustained Lilith’s fading soul by reincarnating her into a human body—a feat demanding immense magical capability. He also created an artificial sun that perpetually shines over his private beach, a display of strength far exceeding typical demon magic.

In governance, he oversees Devildom operations through tools like the D.D.D. (Diavolo’s Devildom Device), a smartphone-like tool for communication and services. Despite his influence, he faces challenges: rumors persist of torture dungeons under his castle, and his public persona as an intimidating ruler contrasts with his private, playful interactions.
