Raised at Cocolia's orphanage among displaced children, including Bronya Zaychik and Sin Mal, she formed a close bond with Bronya after witnessing her skills and receiving comfort following bullying incidents. Seele's timidity prevented her from intervening when Sin Mal broke Bronya’s legs out of jealousy. Later, after traffickers kidnapped Seele, Bronya’s rescue triggered her awareness of Veliona, a stigmata-driven inner persona.
Seele possesses a hereditary stigma designating her as a potential vessel for the 6th Herrscher. This stigma manifested Veliona, a separate personality embodying Seele’s repressed emotions. The experiment collapsed Seele’s body, trapping her in a quantum state within the Sea of Quanta. Moments before vanishing entirely, she briefly returned to the orphanage, destroying Honkai titans but disappearing just before reaching Bronya, leaving only a hair clip. When Bronya later underwent the X-10 experiment, she entered Seele’s quantum dimension. Seele urged Bronya to return to reality, gifting her a shield that became Project Bunny and securing a promise for reunion.

Following another six-month separation, she reunited with Bronya and joined Schicksal.
