Description
Kyōsuke Bandō is a supporting character in the 1988 live-action film Sukeban Deka: Counterattack of the Kazama Sisters. He serves as the leader of a group known as the Outcast League, a band of delinquents operating outside the system. Bandō is portrayed as a rough-edged and pragmatic young man who is initially wary of Yui Kazama, the third-generation Sukeban Deka, because of her past association with the Juvenile Security Bureau. His motivations are rooted in survival and resistance against the oppressive methods of the bureau and its leader, Kuraudo Sekine. Despite his initial distrust, Bandō becomes a crucial ally to Yui and her sisters, Yuka and Yuma, after learning the truth about Sekine’s plans. He aids the Kazama sisters in infiltrating the bureau’s headquarters and participates in the final confrontation. Bandō’s key relationship is with his own group, the Outcast League, but he also forms a tentative alliance with Yui based on mutual need. His development is limited within the film, shifting from suspicion to reluctant cooperation and then to active partnership in the fight. Bandō’s notable abilities include street-level combat experience and leadership of his delinquent faction.
