Born on April 6, 1983, she is the elder sister of Ken Shido and serves as an assistant to Professor Horiguchi. Because she helped the professor with his research into the ancient civilization, Mika was the first of the twelve Sazers to awaken her powers. She is known for her cool, reserved, and tomboyish demeanor, often serving as the wise and straightforward member of the Flame Tribe. Her calm and practical nature frequently clashes with the hot-headed and bright personality of Tenma Kudou, the leader of the Flame Tribe and the overall Gransazer group, though over time she develops a genuine fondness for him and proves to be a loyal friend. Mika is motivated by a strong sense of duty to protect Earth from alien threats, and she initially works alongside Professor Horiguchi to understand the team’s heritage and mission. As the story progresses, she becomes a key uniting figure among the tribes, helping to forge trust and cooperation. Her transformation grants her white and red armor styled after a swan, representing the astrological sign Aries. In battle, she wields the Swan Sector, a pair of fans, and can execute the Brand Tornado, a powerful flame-based tornado attack. She is also a skilled martial artist, capable of holding her own in hand-to-hand combat. Mika participates in team combination attacks such as Formation Zero. Her relationship with her younger brother Ken is protective and supportive, and she often acts as his anchor.
