Akira Dentsuuin, known as Sazer-Remls, is the leader of the Wind Tribe and one of the central figures in the story. His professional life is that of a skilled surgeon, a career that speaks to a deep-seated dedication to preserving life. This medical background makes him the oldest among the GranSazers, bringing a layer of maturity and gravity to his actions. Initially, Akira presents a demeanor that is distant and cold, which can create a barrier between himself and others. However, this exterior conceals a fundamentally loyal and compassionate nature. When the situation demands it, he proves to be a fierce and relentless fighter.

His introduction to the life of a warrior is born from deception. When he first meets the physicist Karin Saeki, he is awakened as Sazer-Remls. At this time, he is manipulated by the Achelon into believing that the other GranSazer tribes, particularly the Flame Tribe, are evil entities that threaten the planet. As a result, he initially serves as an antagonist to the protagonists, using his newfound powers to attack them relentlessly. Despite this conflict, a crucial aspect of his character is his unwavering belief in Karin. He stands by her side longer than anyone else, driven by his feelings for her, even as he is forced to fight against those who would become his closest allies. This internal conflict eventually reaches a tipping point. He comes to realize Karin's true plan and, in a decisive moment, chooses to protect Tenma from her attack, directly confronting and defeating her. Following this reconciliation, he fully joins forces with the Flame and other tribes to battle the common enemy, the Space Alliance Warp Monarch.

Akira shares a significant bond with his colleague Ai Uozumi of the Water Tribe, who works with him at the same hospital and holds great respect for him. This professional relationship ultimately deepens, as the conclusion of the series shows his marriage to her. In battle, Akira transforms into Sazer-Remls, the wind warrior under the sign of Gemini. His armor is indigo and shaped with the motif of a Japanese rhinoceros beetle. To transform, he uses a device called the Knuckle Riser, activating it with the command Equip. His primary weapon is a cannon known as the Iron Gale. Using this weapon, he can execute his finishing attack, Final Judgment, which fires a concentrated ball of air at his target. He also possesses a secondary technique called the Remls Tornado, which he generates directly from his palm. As the leader of the Wind Tribe, he is responsible for piloting their Chouseishin, Dorcrus, and commands their support vehicles, the Wind-Tribers.
