Description
Itsuro Takamizawa is the human identity of Kamen Rider Verde, a character who appears as the primary antagonist in the Kamen Rider Ryuki television special. At 38 years old, Takamizawa is the head of the Takamizawa Group, a vast and powerful conglomerate with interests across multiple industries. By all external measures, he is an extraordinarily wealthy and successful businessman who has achieved nearly everything society has to offer. Despite his immense wealth and status, which he privately dismisses as insignificant, his ambition remains unfulfilled and continues to drive him toward a singular goal: obtaining superhuman power to become a being beyond ordinary humanity.

In public, Takamizawa maintains the appearance of a refined and gentlemanly executive, a facade that protects his public image and conceals his true nature. Beneath this polished exterior lies a radical, violent, and utterly ruthless individual who subscribes to a brutal social Darwinist philosophy. He believes unequivocally that the world belongs to those with power and that there is nothing wrong with pursuing that power by any means necessary. He views the Rider War, a secret conflict fought within the Mirror World, as a direct and honest representation of modern society, where living itself means defeating others. In his view, all humans are fundamentally Riders, constantly engaged in a struggle for survival and dominance. This cynical worldview serves as the justification for all of his actions throughout the special.

Takamizawa becomes a Kamen Rider to participate in the Rider War, seeing it as the ultimate arena for his ambitions. His role in the story is that of a cunning mastermind who seeks to eliminate all obstacles to his victory. He demonstrates his duplicity early on when Shinji Kido, the idealistic protagonist seeking allies to stop the Rider battles, approaches him. Takamizawa first treats Shinji with politeness before abruptly dismissing his plea as childish and expelling him from his property. His treachery becomes deadly when he intervenes in a battle involving the Riders Raia, Knight, and Ryuki. Using his powers, he attacks Raia from behind and then employs a Copy Vent card to disguise himself as Raia's friend, Kamen Rider Knight. This deception allows him to get close to his unsuspecting target and execute a fatal Final Vent, eliminating Raia from the conflict.

Following this murder, Takamizawa consolidates power by forming an alliance with several like-minded Riders, including Kamen Rider Zolda and Kamen Rider Gai. He identifies Shinji as a dangerous idealist who threatens to disrupt the Rider War by destroying the core mirrors and sealing the Mirror World. Consequently, he leads his faction in a concerted effort to hunt down and eliminate both Shinji and his ally, Ren Akiyama, Kamen Rider Knight. In the final confrontation, Takamizawa successfully inflicts a mortal wound on Knight with his own Final Vent. However, in a desperate final act, the dying Knight unleashes his own Final Vent, striking Takamizawa before he can escape. The blow proves fatal, and Takamizawa perishes, undone by the very Rider he had just defeated.

As Kamen Rider Verde, Takamizawa relies on a deceptive and opportunistic combat style rather than direct confrontation, as his physical parameters are somewhat below average compared to other Riders. His suit provides enhanced senses, including the ability to see up to 20 kilometers, hear up to 10 kilometers, and utilize infrared and night vision. His contract monster is Biogreeza, a large, chameleon-like creature capable of leaping 60 meters, extending its tongue up to 600 meters, and using its own form of camouflage to become invisible. Verde's primary weapon, summoned through his Hold Vent card, is the Biowinder, a yo-yo-like weapon that can travel at 200 kilometers per hour and be used to strike or restrain enemies from a distance of up to 600 meters. His arsenal is defined by two key cards, Clear Vent and Copy Vent. Clear Vent allows Verde to become completely invisible, enabling surprise attacks or escapes. Copy Vent is his signature tool of deception, allowing him to physically assume the appearance, voice, and weapon of another Kamen Rider to infiltrate, sow confusion, or set up a killing blow. His Final Vent, Death Punish, is a powerful piledriver move where Biogreeza wraps its tongue around Verde's legs and swings him at high speed to slam an opponent head-first into the ground.
