Description
Kamen Rider Ryuga is a character who appears in the Kamen Rider Ryuki Special: 13 Riders. He is the direct opponent and a dark reflection of the main protagonist, Shinji Kido, who transforms into Kamen Rider Ryuki. Ryuga is not a separate person but rather the physical embodiment of a Mirror World duplicate of Shinji Kido, created by Yui Kanzaki when she was a lonely child. Because she had met and befriended Shinji at a young age, her subconscious created a copy of him in the imaginary Mirror World as a companion. This duplicate would later grow to inhabit the identity of Kamen Rider Ryuga.
The personality of this Mirror World Shinji is the inverse of the real Shinji Kido. While the real Shinji is known for his kindness, naivety, and strong desire to end the Rider War to save lives, Kamen Rider Ryuga is cold, ruthless, and scheming.
