She holds legal guardianship over her younger cousin, Lin, following the death of Lin's parents. Misa recognizes Lin's trauma from this loss and actively supports her endeavors. During the events of Gundam Breaker 3, Misa recruited a novice player onto her team to compete in tournaments, directly tying the team's performance to the shopping district's fate.
