Description
In the film Kamen Rider Blade: Missing Ace, the Albino Joker serves as the main antagonist, a mirror-like counterpart to the original Joker Undead. This creature is not a separate monster but the true form of Junichi Shimura, a young man who infiltrates the reformed BOARD organization as the new Kamen Rider Glaive. His existence stems from the unresolved conclusion of the Battle Fight, the ancient tournament among Undead. After Kazuma Kenzaki was forced to seal the original Joker, Hajime Aikawa, the Albino Joker emerged from the shadows, representing a second, previously unknown Joker-class Undead designed to reset or exploit the flawed system.
In his natural state, the Albino Joker is a striking visual contrast to the original. While Hajime's Joker form features a black and green color scheme, this entity is predominantly white with red and pink accents. The design intentionally evokes a sense of inversion, as if reflected in a mirror; for instance, the patterns on its legs are reversed left to right compared to the original Joker. As a Joker-class Undead, he possesses immense physical power, including superhuman strength, speed, and durability, as well as biological immortality, allowing him to survive injuries that would be fatal to a human. His combat abilities include extending the nails on his right arm as weapons and firing powerful energy bullets from his hands. Furthermore, he has the unique and dangerous ability to forcibly unseal Undead that had been previously captured in Rouze Cards, which he uses to restart the conflict. He can also create an army of monstrous soldiers known as AlbiRoaches, analogous to the DarkRoaches commanded by the original Joker.
The character of Junichi Shimura is defined by cunning deception and a singular, ruthless ambition. He presents himself as a capable and loyal Kamen Rider, but this is merely a facade for his true nature. His primary motivation is to obtain the ultimate power of an ancient, god-like entity known as Jashin 14. To achieve this, he needs a sacrifice of the Kurihara bloodline, which leads him to target Amane Kurihara, a young girl deeply connected to the original Riders. He methodically manipulates the new Riders under his command, using them to reseal the very Undead he released. Once his pawns have outlived their usefulness, he reveals his identity, kills his allies Shin Magaki (Kamen Rider Lance) and Natsumi Miwa (Kamen Rider Larc), and disguises himself as the former to further his plan. His key relationship is as a dark foil to Hajime Aikawa; both are Jokers, but while Hajime struggles to protect humanity, the Albino Joker seeks its destruction to gain power. He also has a direct adversarial role against Kazuma Kenzaki, the original Blade, whom he forces into a position where he must fight to save Amane.
The Albino Joker's plan reaches its climax when he successfully captures Amane and uses the four Category King Rouze Cards to create the Vanity Card, which he fuses with an ancient tablet to revive and merge with Jashin 14. In this fused form, he becomes nearly invincible and overwhelms the Riders. His development follows a classic villainous arc of a secret traitor whose scheme initially succeeds perfectly. However, his downfall comes from an act of self-sacrifice by his rival, Hajime. The original Joker, freed from his seal, willingly offers himself to be destroyed in Amane's place. This act of substitution weakens the Albino Joker's connection to Jashin 14, making him vulnerable. Seizing the opportunity, Kenzaki transforms into Blade King Form and destroys the fused monster, killing the Albino Joker in the ensuing explosion.
