Junichi Chono is a supporting character from Kamen Rider Kuuga, introduced as a young man alienated from society who initially finds a misplaced sense of belonging with the Gurongi, the monstrous Unidentified Lifeforms threatening humanity. His development is subtly acknowledged later when a handwritten card from him, along with his personal razor, is seen, indicating his ongoing progress and connection with the main cast. Junichi does not possess any notable combat abilities or special powers; his role is that of a civilian whose personal struggle with nihilism and redemption provides a human-scale reflection of the series themes of hope and hard-won progress.
