Description
Me-Garume-Re is a member of the Gurongi tribe, a group of ancient beings who terrorize humanity in the story. Originally designated as Zu-Galme-Re, he belonged to the lower Zu caste but successfully completed a Gegeru, a ritualized game of murder, and was promoted to the Me caste. This advancement is reflected in a noticeable darkening of his skin color. As a Me-class Gurongi, he holds a relatively high position among his kind and is recognized as one of the more prominent figures within the tribe.
His primary motivation is to continue rising through the Gurongi hierarchy, with an expressed desire to eventually attain the Go caste. He participates eagerly in the tribe's deadly game against the descendants of the Linto tribe, which in the modern era is humanity. He is aggressive and takes pleasure in the hunt, but he also possesses a strategic side, using his abilities to evade capture and continue his killings.
In the story, Me-Garume-Re is responsible for the murder of Nana Asahina's acting teacher, a crime that draws the attention of the police and Kamen Rider Kuuga. He is initially able to escape confrontation by leveraging his unique abilities. His most notable ability is invisibility, which he uses to ambush victims and avoid direct combat. He also attacks with a long, prehensile tongue that emerges from his mouth, capable of striking from a distance. These traits make him a cunning and elusive opponent.
During his encounter with Kuuga, Me-Garume-Re relies on his invisibility to flee when cornered. However, Kuuga takes to the air using the Gouram vehicle and activates his Pegasus Form, whose enhanced senses allow him to detect the invisible foe. Kuuga then finishes Me-Garume-Re with the Blast Pegasus attack, ending his threat.
