Junko Uchida is a Japanese singer, entertainer, and musical actress born in Tokyo on February 14, 1973. She began her career as a child actor on stage before making her debut as an anime singer in 1988.

Uchida signed with the major record label Nippon Columbia while in her first year of high school. Her debut single, Body Only Lady, was released on November 1, 1988, with the B-side song Korosuke ROCK. Both tracks were used for the Fuji Television anime Kiteretsu Daihyakka, with Body Only Lady serving as the opening theme and Korosuke ROCK as the ending theme.

She is known for her work on the anime series Kingyo Chūihō! (also known as Goldfish Warning!). Uchida performed the opening theme Wapiko no Genki Yohō! and the ending theme Super Kingyo, which was released as the B-side to that single on January 24, 1991. She also performed the insert song Gyoppy Dance, which was released as an A-side single on August 21, 1991, along with another insert song, Wapiko Mate Kōshinkyoku.

Her other anime theme song credits include the opening theme Onegai, Chimpui for the TV Asahi anime Chimpui, released as a single on November 24, 1989. She also performed the theme song Yume no Hikōki for the TV Tokyo anime Vehicle Kingdom BuBu ChanChan, released as a single on August 21, 1998.

Beyond her work on anime, Uchida was a regular performer on the NHK educational children's program Utatte Odoropa from 1995 to 1998, where she appeared as the character Junjun. She performed several songs for the show, including Tokaku to Nikaku Odoropa, Kessen no Folk Dance, Norimono Samba, and Kappa Tengoku. She also contributed songs to the Vehicle Kingdom BuBu ChanChan franchise, including Vehicle Power de Run Run Run, Dream Train, and Vehicle Circle Miracle Wonderland.

Uchida has worked as a dance instructor and a lecturer in early childhood education. She has used the name junko for her work as a children's choreography instructor. Her career has also included performing commercial songs for brands such as Nestle Japan and Calpis.
