Description
Rita is a Japanese singer, lyricist, and voice actor from Osaka Prefecture who has been active in the music industry since 2002. She is signed to the Lantis record label and has maintained a career closely tied to anime and game music, particularly within the visual novel sector. In 2004, she formed the musical group Blueberry & Yogurt with composer Toshihiko Uchiyama and vocal engineer Takamatsu And, though the group later continued as a duo following Takamatsu And departure in late 2005.

Her music credits are extensive, with a significant portion of her work connected to the Key visual novel franchise Little Busters!. She performed the opening theme "Little Busters!" for the original visual novel, a song later reprised in various forms for the anime adaptation. The Little Busters! anime series and its后续 OVA releases feature several of her songs, including "Little Busters! EX," "Alicemagic," "Haruka Kanata," and "Song for friends." These tracks have been used as opening themes, ending themes, and insert songs throughout the franchise's multiple television seasons and video releases.

In the context of anime works, Rita is notably credited for two songs featured in the series Shirobako. She performed "Alice in Blue (アリス・イン・ブルー)," which serves as the opening theme for the剧中动画 (anime-within-an-anime) titled The Third Aerial Girls Squad (第三飛行少女隊). She also performed "Angel Fly," the ending theme for the same fictional series. Both songs were released on a special edition CD bundled with the sixth Blu-ray volume of Shirobako on May 27, 2015, distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The lyrical content for both songs was written by Kumano Kiyomi, with composition by Wataru Cheru. "Alice in Blue" was arranged by Wataru Cheru, while "Angel Fly" features arrangement by Sakabe Tsuyoshi.

Beyond her performance credits, Rita is also an active lyricist, often writing her own material. Her musical output covers a broad range of genres, including pop, rock, ballads, and jazz, adapting to the diverse requirements of the visual novels and anime projects she participates in. She has released several albums, including "memoire," "moment," "monologue," "mignon," "multiple," and "motion." Her work remains primarily focused on the game music scene while extending into anime theme songs and character songs.
