Rita is a Japanese singer, lyricist, and voice actor from Osaka Prefecture who has been active in the music industry since 2002. She is signed to the Lantis record label and has maintained a career closely tied to anime and game music, particularly within the visual novel sector. In 2004, she formed the musical group Blueberry & Yogurt with composer Toshihiko Uchiyama and vocal engineer Takamatsu And, though the group later continued as a duo following Takamatsu And departure in late 2005.

Her music credits are extensive, with a significant portion of her work connected to the Key visual novel franchise Little Busters!. She performed the opening theme "Little Busters!" for the original visual novel, a song later reprised in various forms for the anime adaptation.
