Description
Asuka Nishi is a Japanese artist whose musical output is closely tied to her voice acting career, particularly through her performance of character songs and anime theme music. Born on February 10, 1988 in Hyogo Prefecture, Nishi developed an early foundation in music during her middle and high school years, where she was a member of the brass band club and played the flute, eventually becoming the club's president. This musical background later translated into a career as a performer of anime-related music.
Nishi made her solo musical debut within the context of anime soundtracks in 2012 with the television series Ebiten: Ebisugawa Public High School's Tenmonbu. For this series, she is credited as the performer of several ending theme songs. These include Chikyuu ni I love you, which served as the first ending theme, as well as melos no you ni, Don't look back, and Sayonara Jinrui. In addition to these ending themes, she also performed the insert song Moe Romance for the same series. Her work on Ebiten also involved performing as part of the group Hoshi no Shoujo-tai, which included fellow voice actresses Iori Nomizu, Risako Murai, and Midori Tsukimiya. This group performed the opening theme song Mirai-iro no Yakusoku.

She is a member of Rhodanthe, a group formed for the anime series Kin-iro Mosaic.
