Description
Yuka Iguchi is a Japanese music artist who began her career as a singer in 2013 under the record label KADOKAWA. Her debut single, Shining Star-☆-LOVE Letter, was released on February 6, 2013, and was used in the film A Certain Magical Index: The Movie – The Miracle of Endymion. Prior to her solo debut, she performed character songs and insert songs for anime series in which she appeared as a voice actress.
Iguchi has contributed theme songs and insert songs to several major anime franchises. For the series iDOLM@STER: XENOGLOSSIA, she performed the insert songs Natsuzora no Brooch and LIVE for LOVE!. She also recorded solo versions of the series opening theme Binetsu S.O.S!! and ending theme Yuukyuu no Tabibito ~Dear boy~ for character-based releases. In the mecha anime Majestic Prince, she performed Arigatou. Tadaima. as an ending theme, both as a duet with Yōko Hikasa and as a solo piece.
Her work within the A Certain Magical Index franchise is particularly extensive. She performed Grow Slowly, which served as the first ending theme for To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S in 2013. The single was released on May 15, 2013, and also featured the insert song stand still. For A Certain Magical Index III, she performed the ending theme Kakumei Zenya (Eve of the Revolution) as well as a later ending theme titled Owaranai Uta (Never-Ending Song).
Beyond individual singles, Iguchi released a full album titled az you like... on July 6, 2016, through Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The album includes a variety of tracks showcasing her pop-oriented musical identity. Among the songs featured are Hey World, which was used as the opening theme for Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. The album also features contributions from notable songwriters and composers, including Watanabe Sho, who wrote SUGAR LEISURE and Little Charm Fang, as well as toku from GARNiDELiA, who composed and arranged Kawanaranai Tsuyosa. For the album track Oyasuminasai, Iguchi wrote the lyrics herself, marking a personal contribution to her musical catalogue.

She was part of the five-member voice actress unit RO-KYU-BU!, formed in 2011 around the cast of the anime Ro-Kyu-Bu!.
