The anime series "16bit Sensation: Another Layer," based on the manga of the same name, will soon make its debut. The official website recently released a video in the style of a bishōjo game, featuring the series' opening song, "65535" by Shoko Nakagawa. The voice actors Aoi Koga, Atsushi Abe, Ayako Kawasumi, and Yui Horie have been confirmed for the project. They will play the roles of Konoha Akisato, Mamoru Rokuda, Kaori Shimoda, and Meiko Uehara, respectively. The series is directed by Takashi Sakuma at Silver. The story is written in collaboration with the manga's creator, Tamiki Wakaki, and author Tatsuya Takahashi. The character designs are by Masakatsu Sasaki, and Yashikin will handle the music composition. Satoshi Motoyama will serve as the sound director for the series.
The original manga focuses on Meiko Uehara, who starts working at a PC shop that turns out to be a front for a more risqué business. Suddenly, she finds herself in a new role as a graphic artist for adult-themed games, despite having no prior experience in the field.
