Meanwhile, the game's development progresses eagerly, as the artists at Alcohol Soft work to modify the game's content for the console adaptation, replacing explicit scenes with tamer ones. The team's dedication is palpable, and each member contributes their expertise with enthusiasm.

The mood shifts, however, when Konoha encounters Toya during her observation, a young man she had previously helped. Toya shares that he has become a lead illustrator at a game studio and that Konoha inspired him to pursue his career. Their conversation is interrupted when Konoha spots the manager of Alcohol Soft entering the club, prompting her to report back.

The plot intensifies as the manager's shady dealings come to light. He has invested a significant portion of the company's funds into Ichigaya's ventures, including the cosplay club, in hopes of securing the console sports deal. This revelation is followed by the shocking news that Ichigaya has been arrested for fraud, leaving Alcohol Soft burdened with a billion yen in debt and in dire financial straits.
