"2.5 Jigen no Yuuwaku" Reveals New Visual and Promo Video

The TV anime adaptation of Yuu Hashimoto's "2.5 Jigen no Yuuwaku" has released a new key visual and a new promotional video.

This new visual features the characters Lilysa, Mikari, Nonoa, and Aria in school uniforms, offering a change from their previous cosplay outfits. This allows fans to compare the "real" versions of the four characters with their "2.5-dimensional" counterparts. The promotional video showcases the opening theme "Shutter Chance" by Mei-chan and includes scenes of Masamune Okumura and Lilysa meeting and overcoming various challenges together in their cosplay adventures.

The story of "2.5 Jigen no Yuuwaku" revolves around Masamune Okumura, an ordinary high school boy who loves the 2D character Liliel. His life changes when he meets the new transfer student Lilysa Amano, who dreams of becoming Liliel. Together, they immerse themselves in the world of cosplay. The original manga has been serialized on Shonen Jump+ since 2019, and the anime will air from July 5th across two cours.
