The adapted animation of Natsumi Eguchi’s Hozuki no Reitetsu has announced through its official twitter account that they are also going to release the second season of the animation in October; they had also published a visual for the second season animation series. The anime series was streamed by Crunchyroll, and the series was released on home video by Sentai Filmworks in February. The series was launched under the title of Hozuki’s Coolheadedness. There were also three original animations DVD inspired by the manga that shipped with the 17th, 18th, and 19th volume of the manga. In December 2014, the company did advance screening of the three original animations DVD in theatres in Japan.
The story of the manga revolves around the life of Hozuki, he is the fierce aide to the Great King Emma. The manga was launched by Eguchi in Morning magazine in 2011.
