In February, the specialist magazine AnimaniA, Nintendo, and TOKYOPOP called for the "School Rumble Class Contest 2006."

Exactly three months were given to students in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to present themselves as the most chaotic class through creative submissions.

The deadline was May 15, 2006, and now the jury convened to review the numerous entries and award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. The judging criteria included idea, execution, content/relevance, effort/scope, class cohesion, and creativity/originality/humor.

Highly attractive prizes were offered to reward creativity, commitment, and teamwork.
