The popular comedy-fantasy series Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! is celebrating its ten-year anime anniversary with a wealth of announcements. The centerpiece of the celebrations is the official confirmation of a fourth television season of the series. The news was presented as part of a special anniversary livestream event, accompanied by the series' long-time main voice actors.

The franchise is expanding the universe with a new, official video game featuring an original story. The game, expected to be released in 2026 for mobile devices and PC, is titled Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! ~Kono Aisubeki Machi ni Han'ei o!~ (in German approximately: KonoSuba – God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!! Prosperity on This Lovely Town!). The creators of the original series, author Natsume Akatsuki and illustrator Kurone Mishima, are directly involved in the development.

Another exclusive content element is a new audio drama, specifically written by Natsume Akatsuki. It will depict the turbulent adventures of Kazuma and his group during the four seasons in their hometown of Axel. The first part, a winter story titled "White Snow Fairy Tale: Hyōka no Kisetsu", will be released this winter via the series' YouTube channel.

For the fan community in Japan, several physical events are planned. A major anniversary event with the voice actors and singer Machico is scheduled for July 26, 2026, at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall. Additionally, a special exhibition will open in autumn 2026 at AKIBA_SQUARE in the UDX building in Tokyo's Akihabara district.

There is also news in the merchandising and music sectors. A comprehensive music collection featuring 88 tracks from the entire anime history, including previously unreleased pieces, will be released on March 18, 2026. Furthermore, two new novel volumes are announced for late February 2026.

The series, written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, began in 2013 as a light novel series. It tells the story of teenager Kazuma Satō, who is reborn in a fantasy world with RPG elements after a sudden death. Instead of taking a powerful item, he chooses out of spite the goddess Aqua, who brought him there. Together with the explosion-obsessed magician Megumin and the masochistic crusader Darkness, they form a highly incompetent but extremely entertaining adventurer party.
