"A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized" Season 2 - New Key Visuals and Cast Announcement

The second season of the anime "A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized" will premiere on October 2. Along with the announcement, new key visuals and a promotional video were released, revealing additional cast members.

This season continues the story with Asuka's kingdom as the new setting following the events of the first season. New cast members include Haruki Ishiya as Eduardo, Chafurin as Prabas, and Kohei Amasaki as the mysterious man. The promo video also previews the opening theme "Brave one," written by Fukurou Note.

The anime is based on the novel series by Kaisei Enomoto, which depicts the peaceful life of a harmless, herbivorous dragon who has lived for 5,000 years and his adventures with Reiko, a former sacrificial girl, on their journey to defeat the Demon King. Returning cast members include Hochu Otsuka as the herbivorous dragon and Aoi Yuki as Reiko. New characters introduced in the second season include Vanessa, the queen of the kingdom, voiced by Yui Ishikawa, her sister Rosetta, voiced by Iori Noguchi (from =LOVE), and members of a mysterious organization with Takuma Nagatsuka as the leader and Momo Sakurai (from ≠ME) as a member.
