The upcoming anime adaptation of the light novel series "Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudōki," originally written by Howahowa Shiina and illustrated by Yamaada, has made several important announcements. A first promotional video, featuring excerpts from the opening and ending themes, has been made available to the public. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 2 across multiple channels and streaming platforms.



The cast of the anime includes well-known names such as Kaito Ishikawa, who voices Earth, and Daisuke Namikawa, who takes on the role of Taichi Tanaka. Other characters like Fairy Queen, Zwei, and Milly are voiced by Reina Ueda, Tasuku Hatanaka, and Miho Okasaki, respectively. The anime is directed by Yuichi Nakazawa, who has prior experience in the animation industry.

The story revolves around Taichi Tanaka, a 38-year-old single man with a routine office job. He participates in a new virtual reality MMORPG called "One More Free Life Online" and takes on the avatar of a young boy named Earth. Unlike conventional gaming goals, Tanaka focuses on mastering skills that are often overlooked by other players.
