Good news for fans of the popular light novel series "Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudōki": AlphaPolis has announced that the series will be adapted into a TV anime.

The series tells the story of Taichi Tanaka, a 38-year-old single man with an ordinary office job who enjoys playing video games in his free time. In the world of the new VRMMO game "One More Free Life Online," he logs in as an avatar named "Earth." In a game where players can do whatever they want, Taichi decides to master a skill considered useless. He brews potions that are too tedious, cooks food that tastes too good, and hunts monsters with original and unconventional weapons.

"Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudōki" was first released in 2014, and the 27th volume of the novel series will be published on February 20.
