The manga "Ame to Kimi to" by Yukie Nikaido, currently serialized in Young Magazine (Kodansha), is set to receive a TV anime adaptation in 2025. Along with this announcement, a teaser visual has been released.
"Ame to Kimi to" is a short story depicting the daily life of the protagonist Fuji and a self-proclaimed "dog" named Kimi. The story begins on a rainy day when Fuji meets Kimi, who is holding a sign appealing to passersby and asking to be taken in. So far, six volumes of the manga have been released, with the seventh volume scheduled for release on September 5. The teaser visual shows Fuji and Kimi together under an umbrella.
To celebrate the anime adaptation, Nikaido has also released a special illustration featuring Kimi visiting an anime studio.
