The second season of the anime "Blue Lock" is expected to premiere in October of this year. This was announced during a special event celebrating the birthday of the character Seishiro Nagi on May 6, 2024. The event included a screening of "Blue Lock -EPISODE Nagi" and appearances by Nobunaga Shimazaki, Yuma Uchida, and Nozomu Urawa, who portray Seishiro Nagi, Reo Mikage, and Yoichi Isagi.

During the event, a surprise illustration by Yosuke Nomura was revealed to celebrate the confirmation of the broadcast schedule.
