The popular TV anime series "Call of the Night," based on the manga by Kotyama, has now officially announced the production of its second season. The announcement was accompanied by the release of a teaser image and a promo video.

The teaser image features the characters Nazuna and Anko floating against the backdrop of a large full moon in the night sky, accompanied by the phrase "The night is not over yet."

Kotyama, the creator of the original manga, expressed his personal excitement about the announcement and hinted that the second season might cover parts of the story he would especially love to see animated. Tomoyuki Itamura, who will return as director for the second season, shared his enthusiasm about reviving the magical nighttime settings and exploring further developments in the relationships between the characters, particularly between Kou and Nazuna, as well as potential continuations of their confrontations with the detective.
