Exciting news for anime fans! The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Yone Sawata's manga Acro Trip has just revealed the cast, character visuals, and a promotional video to celebrate the release of the manga's fifth volume. The video features Miku Itō, who voices the main character Chizuko Date and narrates the text.



The anime is directed by Ayumu Kotake, who previously worked as an assistant director on Pet. The series composition is handled by Shinichi Inotsume, known for his work on PERSONA 5 the Animation. Character designs are by Toshie Kawamura, who previously worked on Yes! Precure 5.

The anime is set to premiere in 2024 and tells the comedic story of Chizuko Date, an otaku girl living in a city in Niigata Prefecture. She is obsessed with Berry Blossom, a magical girl who protects the city. However, Chroma, the leader of the local evil organization Fossa Magna, is incompetent and weak, so hardly anyone cares about the frequent battles between Berry Blossom and Chroma. Chizuko vows to uncover the magical girl's heroic deeds, and this burning desire leads the seemingly shy schoolgirl down a dark path filled with bizarre characters...
