Additional cast announced for TV anime "Dandadan", along with new key visual and promo clip

The TV anime "Dandadan," based on the original work by Yukinobu Tatsu, has announced new cast members, including Nana Mizuki, Ayane Sakura, and Kaito Ishikawa. Along with this announcement, the second key visual and a new promotional video have been released.

"Dandadan" is an occult, supernatural battle and romantic comedy that follows the life of high school student Momo Ayase, who comes from a spiritual family, and her classmate and occult enthusiast Ken Takakura, also known as Okarun. Nana Mizuki plays Seiko, Momo's grandmother and a powerful spiritual medium named Dodoria Santa. Ayane Sakura plays Aira Shiratori, a popular girl at school who mistakenly believes Momo is a demon due to her psychic abilities. Kaito Ishikawa plays Jin Enjoji, Momo's handsome childhood friend and first love, nicknamed Jiji.

The new key visual features Seiko, Aira, and Jiji alongside Momo and Okarun, surrounded by spirits and aliens, including Turbo Baba and Serpo aliens. The second promotional video showcases the movements and voices of Seiko, Aira, and Jiji.

"Dandadan" will begin airing in October. The anime is directed by Fuga Yamashiro, with series composition and scripts by Hiroshi Seko and animation production by Science SARU. Shion Wakayama will voice Momo, Natsuki Hanae will voice Okarun, Mayumi Tanaka will voice Turbo Baba, and Kazuya Nakai will lend his voice to the Serpo aliens.
