Additional episodes and movie version for "Watashi ga Koibito ni Narenai Wake ga Nai Jan, Muri Muri! (※Muri ja Nakatta!?)"

Regarding the anime production "Watashi ga Koibito ni Narenai Wake ga Nai Jan, Muri Muri! (※Muri ja Nakatta!?)" (English title: "You Can't Be My Lover, No Way, No Way! (But It Wasn't No Way!?)"), new projects have been officially confirmed. The series' plot will continue beyond the already aired finale. The creation of five additional episodes is planned.

Even before the release of these new episodes, a specially edited version for the big screen will be released on November 21. This version carries the addition "Next Shine!" and is expected to be shown nationwide in Japanese cinemas.

The supplementary plot is based on the fourth volume of the original light novel series. It continues to deal with the protagonist Renako, who struggles with her feelings after love confessions from two classmates – the popular Mai and Ayaka, who is considered the school's angel. Together with her friend Kaho, she takes part in a cosplay event.

On the occasion of these announcements, new visual materials were also presented. A newly designed key visual shows Renako, laughing, surrounded by four other characters. Additionally, a special trailer was released in which the characters describe their personal thoughts.

Concrete details regarding the scope and release of the expanded series will be announced at a later date.
