Aniplex Inc. and Crunchyroll have announced the exclusive premiere of "Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hashira Training Arc" for May 12, 2024. Following a successful world tour and a theatrical experience, the series will be taken over by Crunchyroll in spring 2024.

"Kimetsu no Yaiba" is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, published by SHUEISHA under JUMP COMICS, spanning 23 volumes with over 150 million copies in circulation. The anime production is handled by ufotable.

The series' story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy who strives to turn his sister Nezuko, transformed into a demon, back into a human after their family is killed by a demon. Since its premiere in April 2019, the series has released multiple arcs and a feature film, "Mugen Train," captivating audiences worldwide. The most recent, "Swordsmith Village Arc," premiered in 2023.

The "Hashira Training Arc" revolves around the Demon Slayer Corps' finest swordsmen, the Hashira, as they prepare for a final battle. The arc promises to delve into the characters' beliefs and resolve as they embark on a new journey.
