“Detective Conan”: Original episode on Yakushima – “The Mountain Spirit of Yakushima”

The anime series Detective Conan, based on the original work by Gosho Aoyama, presents a special two-part original episode titled "The Mountain Spirit of Yakushima (Part 1 & 2)." The story takes place on the idyllic island of Yakushima in Kagoshima Prefecture. A special promotional visual was released for the occasion.

In the episode "The Mountain Spirit of Yakushima," Conan and his friends travel to Yakushima to investigate a case where a corpse was left near the famous Jomon Sugi tree. During their arduous journey through the dense forests, they hear about the legend of the mountain spirit, a mystical creature said to drink human blood. Meanwhile, they witness a pursued person falling off a cliff. Before losing consciousness, the victim murmurs the word "mountain spirit." Driven by this enigmatic incident, Conan and his friends begin to unravel the mystery behind the case, seemingly inspired by the legend.
